HEAL YOUR STORY -HEAL YOUR MIND

13. The Bear Who Spoke in Metaphors (Inuit)

There is an old Inuit tale of a bear who never spoke directly.

If he was hungry, He would speak of migrating fish. If he was lonely, He would describe ice that cracked too soon.

This is how the psyche speaks.

Never directly. Never on demand.

The Fool Method listens in metaphor: dreams, symbols, emotions that make no sense by daylight but are loud as thunder in the inner world.

To heal a story, we must speak the language it chose. Not the language we were taught.
